BACKGROUND INFORMATION OF MUGINI SECONDARY SCHOOL
Dear our guests,
This is a brief history of the Mugini Secondary school:
Geography:
Most of the students enrolled are coming from Magu district, Mwanza city, Busega district, Bunda district, Tarime district Ukerewe district and Shinyanga.
However, we have enrolled few students from Sengerema district, Kwimba district, Arusha, Morogoro, Dodoma and Dar es Salaam.
Registration:
Currently the school is
having 177 registered students as follows:-
Genesis of Mugini Secondary School: TheMugini Secondary School followed a logical sequence after the success in setting up of the Mugini English Medium Primary school. The question arose among stake holders as to where their children should go to attend a similar quality secondary school which would take over from MEMPES and carry on proving secondary education.
OUR FAITH
Mugini Secondary school is founded on strong moral principles and close relationship with God. We are proud of the diversity of faith and respect the differences of persuasion that are present.
We believe in holistic
approach of life that balances the mind, body and spirit to prepare the life that balances the child to serve the world when they
finish their studies.
Spiritual development is
an essential part of the school program. The school
therefore has employed spiritual leaders who conducts summon every Friday
afternoon.
Mugini Secondary School from the beginning has insisted on serious and quality education programs (as proved by academic results).
For example; the following table shows the performance of the previous National Examination Council of Tanzania (NECTA) results for the previous three years from 2021 to 2023.
You can also prove
yourself these results from NECTA data base. Our center number is S5027 Mugini secondary school.
This year we have registered 31 students to sit for form two national
assessments (FTNA) and 51 students to sit for form four Certificate of secondary education examination (CSEE).
As we always walk the talk, so do we
aim at making sure that the
students achieve the balance between theory and practical and that they
experience bitterness in spiritual and academic journey.
Students from all over
Tanzania are attracted to Mugini secondary school because of its academic and
management. We believe that environment is ourselves hence care for the environment is our
responsibility and therefore,
we plant trees and manage
our dumping appropriately.
The dormitory is a home
for our students. We have boys and girls dormitories where we expect them to
enjoy in a good and conducive atmosphere like the dormitory life at its best.
The matron and patron reside with the student in the dormitory and take care of
them for twenty – four hours. Teachers are also closely supervising the
students.

mission: To inculcate morals alongside provision of normal education subjects as approved
by the education ministry.

School objectives
i. To heed government appeal requesting
civics organization and competent individuals to assist in the eradication of
illiteracy by investing in education.
ii. To provide
conducive teaching and learning environment attraction to the entire Tanzania
community.
iii. To create
more opportunities for secondary education
but cannot get a chance in government schools because
there are few chances.
We are aiming at proving
education with a moral focus so that the children are prepared to play their
role as good citizens of Tanzania, Fully developed physically, mentally and
spiritually.

Our teachers are highly educated with multiple teaching awards.
Our school is one of the best leading schools in academic perfomance countrywide.
Not only do we teach our students of classroom education, but also psychology, social and multicultural behavioral changes.
Since I transferred to this school it has been the best School Ever!
The school is full of skilled teachers and a lot of learning materials for every student in all levels.
I can safely say this is one of the schools with the most beautiful environment. I will recommend my home girls!
